3. Where is the course located — Sa Pa or Bat Xat?
The course is located in Bat Xat District, Lao Cai Province — not right in the center of Sa Pa town. This is an important point when planning: if you choose a hotel in Sa Pa town, you will need to travel an additional significant distance to reach the course. WinGolf will advise on suitable hotel options after knowing the specific tee time — usually Lao Cai if prioritizing convenience of travel, or Sa Pa if prioritizing scenery and having extra rest time.
4. How to get from Hanoi to Sapa Grand?
The distance is about 300+ km. There are 3 common ways: (1) private car about 6-7 hours depending on traffic, (2) Hanoi – Sa Pa limousine bus (WinGolf quotes separately), (3) Hanoi – Lao Cai train then transfer to Bat Xat / Sa Pa. The train is a popular choice for guests who want to save time and enjoy the scenery; WinGolf can assist with booking tickets along with the package if you wish.
5. How much are caddie tips?
Caddie tips at golf courses in Vietnam are typically 400,000 – 700,000 VND/round, paid directly to the caddie at the course and not included in the package. This amount is an industry standard, and WinGolf notes it clearly so you can budget in advance.
6. Can Fansipan cable car or village visits be added?
Yes, WinGolf can add the Fansipan cable car (subject to weather and operating conditions), ethnic village visits with a licensed guide, highland food tours, or photography programs. Each addition is quoted separately. You can also add a 3rd-4th night in Sa Pa town to fully relax before returning to Hanoi.
7. Can non-golfing companions come along?
