BRG Kings Island Golf Resort is located on Dong Mo Lake, Son Tay Town, Hanoi — about 36km from central Hanoi. What's special: when arriving here, golfers must take a 3-minute speedboat ride across Dong Mo Lake to reach the island resort — a unique experience that no other golf course in the North offers a similar approach to.

The resort is entirely situated within the Dong Mo reservoir, bordering the Ba Vi mountain range in Ba Vi National Park — creating one of the most magnificent landscapes in Northern Vietnam.

3-Course Golf System

BRG Kings Island is the first golf course built in Northern Vietnam, featuring 54 international-standard holes on 350 hectares of land and 1,500 hectares of water surface. The resort includes 3 golf courses, each with its own distinct style:

Course 1: Lakeside Course (1993) — The Oldest Course in the North

Designed by American architect Robert McFarland, opened in 1993 — one of the oldest golf courses in Vietnam. Lakeside is 6,511 yards from the Gold Tee, Par 72, with 14 of 18 holes featuring water hazards. TifDwarf grass greens, Bermuda grass fairways. Suitable for mid-handicap golfers, easier to play than Kings Course.

Course 2: Mountain View Course (2004) — Ba Vi Mountain Views

Designed by Pacific Coast Designs (Australia), maximizing the majestic views of the Ba Vi mountain range. 6,978 yards long, Par 72. Novotec greens imported from Australia. After the 2017 renovation, Mountain View is one of the most beautiful parkland courses in the North.

Course 3: Kings Course (2018) — Most Challenging & Most Prestigious

Designed by Jack Nicklaus II — President of Nicklaus Design. At the opening, Jack Nicklaus II declared: "This is my special gift to Vietnamese golfers." The first 9 holes wind through natural forest, while the back 9 challenge with large water lakes.

Special feature: hole 19 — tee off from the top of a waterfall, hitting down to an island green in the middle of the lake, with two options: King Green and Queen Green. This is a play-off hole for cases where the total strokes are tied after 18 holes.
