Phoenix Tournament – WAGC Vietnam 2026 National Qualifier & National Final is officially open for registration. This is a journey comprising 6 qualifying rounds and the national final at Phoenix CV Golf & Resort, where the 5 best golfers will represent Vietnam at the World Amateur Golfers Championship (WAGC) World Final 2026 in Malaysia from 26–31/10/2026.

Selection pathway for the 5 Vietnamese representatives competing in the WAGC World Final
The tournament is held in shotgun format at 12:30 over 7 days. Six qualifying rounds will be held at the Champion, Dragon, and Phoenix courses; the final will take place on 13/09/2026 at the Champion course.
At the end of the final, the top golfer in each of the 5 categories will become part of the Vietnamese team competing at the WAGC World Final 2026 in Malaysia. See more information about the venue at Phoenix Golf Resort.
Who can participate? Format and Handicap categories
According to the regulations, the tournament is open to Vietnamese amateur golfers aged 18 and over. Each competition day uses the stroke-play format based on an official Handicap over 01 18-hole round; golfers are divided into categories according to their registered Handicap Index.
- Category A: Handicap Index 0.0–5.4.
- Category B: Handicap Index 5.5–10.4.
- Table C: Handicap Index 10.5–15.4.
- Table D: Handicap Index 15.5–20.4.
- Table E: Handicap Index 20.5 and above.
Note from Wingolf: Golfers should review their Handicap, VGA code, and personal information before tee-off. The regulations apply the 2023 Rules of Golf by R&A/USGA, along with local rules and the decisions of the Tournament Committee.
Participation fee of VND 3,500,000/golfer through Wingolf
With a fee of VND 3,500,000/golfer, Wingolf supports registration and provides procedural consultation to help golfers prepare for the competition day. The participation package includes:
- 01 official 18-hole competition round.

- Trophy and prizes according to the tournament structure.
HIO structure and practice round offer
The highlight of the tournament is the Hole-in-One structure for each stage of the competition. The tournament regulations announce a BMW X3 20i All-New Model 2025 prize on designated Par 3 holes, a 05-year Phoenix CV Golf & Resort membership card worth VND 472,500,000 per card on specified holes, along with gifts from sponsors. The structure is subject to the regulations and confirmation by the Organizing Committee on the competition day.
Registered golfers will also receive an offer for a practice golf round before the tournament during the period 01/07/2026–13/09/2026. This is a suitable opportunity to familiarize themselves with the course conditions and fine-tune their form before entering the official round.
